Power to Change Everything
Proverbs 4:20 to 22 says this.
My son, pay attention to my words; listen carefully to my to my sayings.
Visualize them constantly in your mind’s eyes; keep them in the centre of your heart.
For they [are] life to those that discover them, and health to every part of their body. (Proverbs 4:20 to 22) [GBMV]
This Scripture promise has become one of my favorite ones when it comes to healing and walking in health. I speak it, and other healing Scriptures, out daily. They are all powerful, but somehow this one seems to stand out above the others.
Why? Because it isn’t just a promise, but it gives something practical that you can do to make positive things happen. This passage tells of mainly 2 things to do:
- Listen to the Word
- Visualize or see the Word
That makes it pretty easy. You simply need to read the Word out loud, or at least under your breath if others are around. Here you are hearing the Word. You will also automatically see the Word as you are reading.
As you keep doing this, your health will automatically begin to bounce back.
There are, however, two other essential things that we all need in life. They are wealth or provision, and favor or good relationships. The power contained in the Word is not only restricted to your health, but to these other areas as well.
The key lies with you and how much of the Word you read – preferably daily. I know that time to do this plays a big part. I think nowadays we are getting much busier, and it isn’t easy to spend hours in the Word.

Find the link that says ‘Readings’ and you will find 7 different readings that change every day. You can just choose one, two or more and read out loud or under your breath.
You may not think you are making any progress. But you are sinking the Word down into your spirit, and it is building up an amazing resource inside.
Today, may you be inspired to continue to let the Word sink inside of you. It will cause you to walk in blessing in your health, your wealth, and your relationships.
