Your Source of Life
How are you feeling today? Maybe you are feeling a little weary because you have been working hard and pushing through with many things.
Maybe you are feeling a bit down and depressed and can’t seem to rise up in victory. Sometimes your physical condition, as well as that of your soul, seem to link together.
If you are not feeling physically good, you often don’t feel enthusiastic and ready to conquer the world. Sometimes the opposite seems to take place. You feel rather that the world and everything in it is conquering you.
So, how do you break out of this slump, because that is what the Lord wants you to do today – and every day in fact. That is His desire for you.
The answer is simple. You just need to recognize the source of your abundant life: the Lord Jesus. John 3:14 and 15 says this.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so the Son of man must be lifted up:
That whoever believes in him should not experience the effects of death, but have never ending [zoe] life. [GBMV]
Realize that no matter what is happening to you or how you are feeling, Jesus is your source of abundant life. That means He is the solution to overcoming everything that is negative in your life, whether it is physical, mental, or emotional.
Why don’t you come into His presence right now? You simply need to invite Him to be a part of whatever is happening in your life. Be honest and begin to share with Him. You can say something like this to Him.
“Lord Jesus, I am feeling so tired today. I don’t feel like doing what I need to do today. I am also feeling overwhelmed with everything that is going on.
I need you, Lord. I love you, and I reach out for Your abundant life to flow through me and to help me to get the victory. Thank you for doing this, Lord.”
Fix your eyes on Him. See Him lifted up and pouring His love and blessing into every area of your being. You will soon feel His peace coming into your life. And you will begin to feel victorious in your circumstances.
This is what He wants to say to you, today.
“My child, I love you so much, and I desire you to live life to the fullest every single day. This means that your spirit, soul and body should all flow together as one, and cause you to walk with Me in victory.
So when you feel defeated, rather than able to overcome your problems, allow Me to fill you with My anointing and power in your spirit. You will feel it moving into every part of your being, and you will be filled with strength and joy. Then you can go out and conquer the enemy. You can push him back and overcome his attacks in your life.”
Why not try this today? Look to Jesus and give Him everything that is not a blessing. Then let Him fill you with His abundant life so that you can walk in victory each day.
