No Danger

Psalm 34:7 says,

The angel of the LORD [Yahweh] encamps round about those that fear him, and delivers them.

Many years ago, when I was married to my first husband, we went to stay with a relative who was a policeman. We stayed with him for a night where he lived, which was like part of a police station. 

One thing that amazed me, was the security setup at that place. There was a very high fence right around the property. And on top of that, there were bright lights shining all over the yard, so anybody who tried to get into that place simply could not do it without being seen. 

This is like that Scripture that I shared. The angel of the Lord is like that perimeter fence surrounding you. He will not allow harm to come to you. But you need to also make use of the tools the Lord has given you to help you to walk in protection. 

Just like you put on clothing every day in the natural, you need to put on spiritual clothing as well. One of these that you need to put on morning and night, is what my late husband called the Mantle of Protection. Doing this will give your person guardian angel the go-ahead to watch over you and keep you safe from harm. 

There is another promise that I love. You might look around you in fear and think that evildoers are just running rampant. But this is what David says in Psalm 37:14 and 15.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, [and] to slay those who are of upright conduct.

Their sword will enter into their own heart, and their bows will be broken.

Evildoers may look like they are winning and spreading their fear and stress around the place. But the Lord will pay them back for their wickedness and cause them to be removed. 

This is what the Lord wants to say to you today. 

“I have provided you with this protection, My child, because you are special to Me. And as you have committed yourself to Me and have made Me a part of your life, I will do this for you. 

Do not allow the enemy to threaten you and try to make you fear. Stand against him, put on the protection that I have already given you, and walk with Me daily. My light will overcome the darkness. And the enemy will run in fear from it because he knows that I will expose all his evil plans. So walk with Me each day. I will watch over you, and I will lead you into the blessing that I desire for you,” says the Lord.
