His Timing is Perfect

Galatians 4:4 and 5 says this.

But when the time of waiting was over, God sent his Son, made from a woman, made under the law,
To redeem those that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. [GBMV]

We as humans can get very impatient if we want something to happen, but it doesn’t seem to happen quickly enough. Perhaps you are single and waiting to meet your spouse. You have prayed about it, and now you are trusting that any day your future husband or wife will appear. 

The trouble is it might seem to be taking so long to come about. I do believe, however, that the Lord has a perfect timing for everything you are waiting on Him for. 

You need to remember that if you are trusting the Lord for something, the angels will often have to get involved in bringing about the answer to your prayers. They may have move things into place, or remove obstacles that are standing in the way of the answer. You may never know what is happening, but be assured that the Lord is moving and working on your behalf. 

I was recently reading about Joseph, after he was thrown into prison. He interpreted a dream for the butler after Pharaoh threw him into jail, and said that he would be restored to his position in three days. Then in Genesis 40:14 it says,

But think on me when it will be well with you, and show kindness, I pray you, to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: [GBMV]

Well, human nature is such that people forget about things and get on with their lives, which is what happened here. It says at the beginning of Genesis 41, that Joseph stayed in prison for 2 full years before Pharaoh had the dreams. 

But do you realize that although his situation seemed hopeless, the Lord had made a plan already? Joseph’s imprisonment was unjust. But if he wasn’t thrown into jail and put in charge of the prisoners, he would not have been able to interpret the butler’s dream.

And if the butler had not met Joseph in prison, he would not have known someone to interpret Pharaoh’s dreams. This, of course, led to Egypt being abundantly blessed, and also the countries around Egypt being blessed because they could get food in their time of famine. 

Does your situation seem to be like Joseph’s? Do you feel like nothing is happening in the spirit, like you are stuck and going nowhere? Maybe you have little hope for the future, even though you have cried out to the Lord to intervene in your situation. 

But don’t lose hope, child of God. Perhaps, like Joseph, you need to meet someone that the Lord can use to bring about a change for you. Whatever you do, keep your faith in the field. And know without a doubt that the Lord has not left you and is in control of your life. 

My Prayer

Thank you, Lord, that You have the perfect timing to answer every need or desire. Thank you, angels of God, for continuing to move on each person’s behalf, and causing all the pieces to come together. 

I speak blessing on you. May you continue to see the Lord moving in your situation in wonderful ways.
